providing business entities with comprehensive assistance in matters of metrology;
organization and implementation of state control over compliance with technical regulations, regulatory documents for standardization, ensuring the unity and reliability of measurements;
exercises state control over ensuring the unity and reliability of measurements, in particular:
the correct application of the established units of physical quantities, the condition of measuring and testing instruments, the conditions for their manufacture, storage, repair, calibration and operation;
the correct application of measurement and testing procedures;
compliance of the used units of units with the units of quantities approved for use in the Republic of Uzbekistan;
compliance with the mandatory requirements for measurements carried out in the field of state regulation of ensuring the uniformity of measurements;
compliance of measuring instruments, reference materials and unit standards with mandatory requirements in the field of state regulation of ensuring the uniformity of measurements;
the availability and compliance with certified measurement procedures (methods) and the correct application thereof;
compliance with the legal entity or individual entrepreneur engaged in the release intended for use
in the field of state regulation of ensuring the uniformity of measurements of standards of units, standard samples and measuring instruments, as well as
their import into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan and sale with notice
about such activities in the prescribed manner.
